Scents that can sell a house.

We have often thought baking a batch of chocolate chip cookies just before a showing would give the home a warm and cozy feel. It would make buyers feel at home and stay a bit longer. We were wrong.
Studies have shown baked goods have a complex scent which can distract homebuyers . They will unconsciously try to figure out what the scent is rather than concentrate on the home.
Try simple scents, such as pine, vanilla or citrus. They are less distracting, and easier to process. If you want to sell the outdoor lifestyle, bring the scent of outdoor in!
